Cotton used is pure Cotton.  Sambalpuri Fabrics are manufactured in Sambalpur , sonepur in Subarnapur, Bolangir , and Barpali in Bargarh Boudh District of Odisha.. The fabric is a traditional design for female and male garments in the Indian Subcontinent consisting of a strip of unstitched dress material for Salwar-Kameez ,Kurti, Gown, Palazzo, Traditional Punjabi . It has rightly been called the Pride of Odissa.
